Best Friends

Hello there! How is everyone? We have been busy over here trying to get things put back together and I think we can say we are finally there!

Our home is changing very much right now and I have noticed it happening for a while, but yesterday it was made for sure.

My two sweet little ones like playing together. We are no longer in the stage of life where we are balancing a newborn and a toddler.

We eat dinner together as a family of four at the same time. Instead of me in the nursery trying to get sister happy while daddy and brother eat a cold dinner because they waited for me for awhile and then realized I wasnt coming out anytime soon so they just went ahead and are eating without me.

And let me just say....

I love this!!

I am sure if you are a mother you understand my heart when I say it brings me so much joy to see me kids playing together...and brother even gettting he and sissy a snack out of the pantry without me.

And it really brings me joy for all of us to sit together at dinner and eat together as a family. Yesterday while I was finishing up dinner and setting the table I put Ally in her booster seat with some cheerios and Weston climbed up there too and wanted a cheerio snack as well :)

Having a tiny baby in the home is such a challenge and I really do enjoy it, but I am enjoying the closeness we all have now even more!

It's a precious time forsure and I just had to share it!

  1. You give me such hope and encouragement when I think about having two kiddos. We have a plan for when we want to have another baby & at times I get really nervous, but reading your blog & hearing how well things are going make me feel more at ease about it! So, thank you for sharing your life! Glad to hear things are going so well! : )

  2. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!!! And I am loving that this stage is getting so close for us as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the itty bitty baby stage - but how much fun and much more 'included feeling' the rest of the family feels when the baby of the family enters into the next stage.

Love the pics of the 2 kiddos on the four wheeler!
